제1경 팔봉산
Palbongsan Mountain (328m)
한국의 100대 명산으로, 여덟 개의 봉우리로 이루어져 팔봉산이라 한다. 봉우리 마다 기암괴석들이 비경을 만들고, 산허리를 감싸고 흐르는 홍천강의 백사장과 어우러져 그림같은 절경을 연출한다.
One of the 100 most celebrated mountains in Korea. The name Palbongsan means it is made up of eight peaks. Strange rocks and stones create mysterious scenes on each peak, and blend with the white sands of the Hongcheongang River that flows through the foothills, creating picturesque views.

제2경 가리산
Garisan Mountain (1,051m)
발아래로 펼쳐진 소양호의 풍경과 3개의 봉우리로 이루어진 정상은 석간수가 샘솟으며, 강원 제1의 전망대라고 할 만큼 풍광이 좋다.
The summit, consisting of three rocky peaks, has a rock spring and offers beautiful views with the scenery of Soyangho Lake that stretches out below, giving it the reputations as the best observation point in Gangwon-do.

가리산자연휴양림
Garisan Recreational Forest
가리산 기슭에 해발 550m 부근에 위치하고 있으며, 난방시설이 완비되어 있는 산막이 설치되어 사계절 이용이 가능하다. 가리산레포츠 시설도 함께 즐길 수 있다.
It is located 550m above sea-level at the foot of Garisan Mountain. A mountain lodge equipped with heating can be used in all seasons. You can also enjoy leisure sports facilities at Garisan Mountain.

제3경 미약골
Miyakgol Valley
원시림의 자연생태계 보고로써 촛대바위와 암석폭포 등 바위들이 각기 아름다운 형상을 이루며, 맑고 깨끗한 용천수가 샘솟아 400리를 흐르는 홍천강의 발원지 이다.
This valley is a treasure trove of the natural ecosystem of a primeval forest. Rocks such as Chotdae Rock and rock falls each form a beautiful shape. This is the source of the Hongcheongang River, where clear and clean spring water wells and flows 400 ri (about 157 km).

제4경 금학산
Geumhaksan Mountain (652m)
정상에서 태극문양의 남노일마을을 관망할 수 있는 명산으로 한강기맥의 끝자락 장락산맥이 한눈에 들어온다. 홍천강변 최고의 절경을 조망할 수 있는 전망대 로도 유명하다.
A famous mountain where you can view Namnoil Village in the shape of Taegeuk from the summit. You can even see the Jangnaksan Mountain Range at the end of the Hangang River. It is also famous as an observatory from where you can enjoy the best views along the Hongcheongang River.

제6경 공작산 수타사
Sutasa Temple at Gongjaksan Mountain
한국 100대 명산인 공작산 끝자락에 자리한 수타사는 신라시대에 창건되었다. 세조 5년 왕명으로 간행된 월인석보를 비롯하여, 수타사 동종, 대적광전 등 수많은 문화재를 소장하고 있는 영서지방의 가장 오래된 사찰이다.
Sutasa Temple, located at the edge of Gongjaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most-celebrated mountains in Korea, was built during the Silla period. It is the oldest temple in the Yeongseo area which possesses numerous cultural properties including Worin seokbo published in the fifth year of King Sejo by the royal order, Bronze Bell, Daejeokgwangjeon Hall, etc.

제7경 용소계곡
Yongso Valley
맑은 물과 기암괴석이 비경을 자랑하며 천혜의 신비로움을 간직한 아름다운 계곡 이다. 약 5km의 트레킹 코스가 마련되어 있어 봄에는 철쭉이, 가을에는 단풍과 갈대가 어우러지고, 여름철에는 시원한 계곡 물을 즐길 수 있다.
A beautiful valley that has retains the mysteries of nature, offering magnificent views with clear water and oddly formed rocks. You can enjoy the view of azaleas in spring, colored leaves and reeds in autumn, and cool valley water in summer along the 5km long trekking course.
제8경 살둔계곡
Saldun Valley
계방천과 자운천이 만든 살둔계곡의 물은 천연기념물인 어름치와 열목어가 서식하는 1급수이다. 봄에는 기암괴석과 철쭉의 조화로 경관이 수려하다.
The water of Saldun Valley, created by the Gyebangcheon and Jauncheon Rivers, is crystal clear and inhabited by natural treasures such as Cyprinid fish and Manchurian trout. In spring, the view is at its most beautiful with the harmony of strange rocks and azaleas.
제9경 가칠봉 삼봉약수
Sambong Mineral Spring at Gachilbong Peak
조선시대 실론약수라 불렸으며 주위의 가칠봉, 사삼봉, 응복산 세봉우리 가운데 위치하여 삼봉약수라 불린다. 15가지 약수성분이 함유된 영천으로 수 질이 우수하며, 전국에서 많은 사람들이 찾아오는 천연기념물 약수이다.
Originally called Sillon Mineral Spring during the Joseon period, it is now called Sambong Mineral Spring because it is located in the middle of the three peaks of Gachilbong, Sasambong, and Eungboksan. It is a spring with miraculous efficacy containing 15 healing ingredients and has excellent quality. The mineral spring is a natural monument that is visited by people all over the country.

대진교강변 Daejingyo Riverside
화촌면 외삼포리 56번 국도변에 있는 대진교강변은 넓은 백사장과 깨끗한 물이 조화를 이루며, 견지낚시와 수심이 낮아 아이들 물놀이에 안성맞춤이다.
Daejingyo Riverside is alongside National Road No. 56 in Oesampo-ri, Hwachon-myeon. The wide white sands are in harmony with the clean water, creating a good spot for strolling and playing in the shallow waters.

Mogok Bambeol Riverside
홍천강 유원지로 알려진 밤벌강변은 넓게 펼쳐진 백사장이 있어 가족단위로 휴식을 취하기 좋은 곳이다.

맑은 물과 넓은 백사장이 펼쳐져 있으 며, 다슬기 잡기 및 견지낚시를 즐길 수 있다. 인근에는 고드래미관광농원이 있어 매운탕 등 향토음식을 맛볼 수 있다.

When you reach the river walking along Deoktan Eco Trail, you will come to white rocks in various shapes formed by rushing water over hundreds of millions of years. As you look at the strange rocks, the clear water flowing between them, and the pine trees, you will be captivated by their mystique.

내면 은행나무숲 Ginkgo Grove in Nae-myeon
가을을 대표하는 최고 명소로 은행나무만 2,000여 그루가 나란히 심어져 있어 노랗게 물든 은행잎이 장관을 연출한다. 인근에 삼봉약수와 구룡령이 위치하고 있다.

척야산문화수목원 Cheogyasan Cultural Arboretum
항일 동창만세운동 김덕원 의사의 후손이 사제를 들여 척야산 일대를 철쭉과 각종 꽃나무를 식재하고 만세운동의 정신이 깃든 비석 100여 개와 광개토대왕비를 실물 크기로 재현해 놓았다.
A descendant of Patriot Kim Deok-won of the March 1st Movement in Dongchang planted the area near Cheogyasan Mountain with azaleas and various flowering trees, erected about 100 memorial stones for the movement, and reproduced Gwanggaeto Stele in its actual size with his own funding.

동학공원 Donghak Park
1894년 동학농민혁명 당시 강원도 최대 격전지로 800여 명 이상이 희생한 곳 이다. 1976년 수많은 유해가 발견되어 1977년 주민과 홍천군에서 뜻을 모아 동학혁명군 위령탑을 세웠고, 주변에 육각정자 등을 세워 공원을 조성하였 다.
This was the most ferocious battlefield of the Donghak Peasant Revolution of 1894 in Gangwon-do where more than 800 people were killed. Bodies were found in 1976, a memorial tower for Donghak Revolutionary Army was built by Hongcheon-gun and its residents in 1977, and a park was created by building a hexagonal pavilion, etc.

물걸리사지 Mulgeol-ri Temple Site
홍천 물걸리사지에 대한 명확한 기록 은 찾을 수 없으나 출토된 유물로 미루 어 보면, 통일신라시대부터 조선시대까 지절이 유지되었음을 알 수 있다. 석조 여래좌상, 석조비로자나불좌상, 석조대좌 석조대좌 및 광배, 삼층석탑 등 강원도 내에 보물이 가장 많은 유적지로 보호각 을 지어 보호하고 있다.
Although accurate records for Mulgeol-ri Temple Site cannot be found, it can be seen from the excavated relics that a temple had been there from the Unified Silla period to the Joseon period. It is the site with the most treasures in Gangwon-do with Stone Seated Buddha, Stone Seated Vairocana Buddha, Stone Pedestal, Stone Pedestal and Mandorla, Three-story Stone Pagoda, etc., which is protected with a canopy built around.

수타사성보박물관에는 월인석보를 비롯하여 강원도 유형문화재로 지정된 영산회상도, 지장시왕도 등이 전시되어 있다.
At Sutasa Buddhist Museum, visitors can see Worin Seokbo (Episodes from the Life of Sakyamuni Buddha) and the Buddhist Paintings of Vulture Peak Assembly and Ksitigarbha and Ten Underworld Kings which are designated as Tangible Cultural Assets of Gangwon-do.
